We provide support for your early childhood centre to thrive. ​With over 40 years’ experience in New Zealand ECE, our experienced team is here to help you across all areas & stages of your Early Childhood Centre Management.

 Our philosophy is simple - to provide support, expertise and training for early childhood centres to be the best they can be.

Most of our team members own and operate centres ourselves, so we know the intricate details of  running a centre, and can guide you through the different steps to ensure your centre is running smoothly and profitably.

Kathy Chi

Kathy Chi

Her deep expertise spans everything from establishing new centres and overseeing daily operations to developing accounting and marketing strategies. Passionate about sharing her insights, Kathy empowers others to create and sustain high-quality, profitable centres, driving success and excellence across the industry.

B. Sc, Dip. Ed - Business Manager

Kathy is a highly accomplished leader in the childcare industry, with over 20 years of kindergarten management experience. She currently owns 8 kindergartens and has provided management support to an additional 20 centers, giving her extensive expertise in addressing the full range of operational challenges faced by childcare centers

Maxine

Maxine Bannan

Maxine has established a good relationship with the ERO and the Ministry of Education. Her extensive experience and commitment to fostering these valuable connections play a key role in the ongoing success of the centers she supports.

Bachelors Degree ECE - General Manager

Maxine has dedicated the past 30 years to early childhood education, with a diverse background in both teaching and management roles. She excels in curriculum development and ensuring health and safety standards are met.

Heather

Heather Skelton

MA(Hons), Dip. Tch, Dip Ed, Grad Dip Tch (ECE) - Curriculum Manager

Heather is a dedicated advocate for providing preschool children with high-quality care and learning opportunities. With teaching experience in mainstream, Reggio Emilia, and Montessori settings, she brings a wealth of expertise.

For the past eight years, Heather has immersed herself in the Montessori kindergarten field, gaining valuable insights as both an educator and an owner. She offers ongoing support to owners and teachers through professional development, resources, and quality control reviews. Passionate about sharing her knowledge, Heather helps others elevate their centers, benefiting children, families, educators, and owners alike

Christine

Christine Wu

MBA, Grad Dip. Ed (ECE) - Area Manager

Christine holds an ECC Graduate Diploma from the University of Auckland and brings 18 years of professional experience to the field. She specializes in streamlining and standardizing the complex daily operations of kindergartens, providing invaluable support to center managers. Her expertise in optimizing processes has significantly alleviated the challenges of managing day-to-day tasks, allowing center managers to focus on more strategic aspects of their work.

Julia

Julia Hung

B. MusEd, Grad Dip. Ed (ECE) - Area Manager

Julia has a Bachelor of Music Education and Graduate Diploma in Teaching in Early Childhood Education. Julia tutored piano for ten years, has eight years of ECE experience, and enjoys working with children immensely. She currently manages a centre in Mt Eden and overseas all aspects of Centre operation.

Anna

Anna Chiu

B. Ed (Tchg) - Area Manager

Anna has been working in the New Zealand ECE sector for 12 years. Her role started off as a student-teacher and slowly moved into teaching and then the management role of administrator and manager. She currently manages a centre in Remuera and looks after enrolments, funding applications, and administration for several centres. Her interests are music and movies as well as being with children. 

Claire

Claire Lim

​Dip. Ed (ECE) - Area Manager

Claire Lim is a fully registered teacher. She has worked in Early Childhood Education in a variety of roles in diverse ECE centres. She has joined ECE Management and has been trained as an area manager. She has a strong passion for working with young children and her teaching philosophy and practice are aligned with Te Whāriki and Reggio Emilia principles. She respects diverse values and cultures and is committed to building respectful and supportive relationships with children, their families / whanau, and colleagues. She supports teachers in developing ongoing professional knowledge and practices as well as contributes to creating/maintaining warm and welcoming, but rich and complex learning environments. She provides support and guidance for licensing assessment and ERO, reviewing planning and assessment documents, policies, and compliance.

Kay Chao

B. Ed (Tchg) - Systems Manager

Kay has a Bachelor of Education (Teaching) from the University of Auckland. She has worked as a journalist and taught children from the age of 2 to 12 in New Zealand and overseas. Kay is a thorough and detailed organiser of systems and resources. She reviews all documentation from MoE and Educational sources ensuring all of our Centres are up to date and have access to best practice.

Anita Hsu

Accounts assistant

Anita has had 4 experience in working in the education field with administration/accounts, Anita looks after all of our accounts payable and receivable and has an eye for detail. When not organizing us at the office Anita enjoys spending time with her family.
